I don’t know about you, but I have attended several weddings this year and Summer has just begun! I do enjoy putting outfits together for weddings, so I’m not complaining. Not just the dress or jumpsuit, but the whole look, including accessories and shoes. Here are looks I’ve worn to weddings so far, how I put them together, and the stores I got the items from (links are affiliate links and I may receive a small commission if you use them) so you have some wedding guest outfit inspiration for the next wedding you attend.
Destination
The first wedding I attended this year was a destination wedding in Mexico. I had gotten this Lilly Pulitzer matching set at a Lilly store in Hawaii a couple years ago. This was my first Lilly clothes purchase ever. When I got it, I wasn’t sure where I would actually where it, but I couldn’t resist the cute pom pom details. Two years later, the wedding in Mexico was the perfect occasion. I paired the matching set with a clutch with similar pom poms and earrings I had gotten from Francesca’s, and sandals from Target. I highly suggest Lilly for destination wedding guest looks. It’s a little on the expensive side, but I have a feeling you will think it’s worth it because you will look and feel great.

Next up were a wedding ceremony and cocktail reception in New York. I went with dresses from Lavish Alice for both occasions. I discovered Lavish Alice a few months ago and I am obsessed with their dresses because they are great quality and fit me so well. If you are attending a wedding with a cocktail attire dress code, I highly recommend trying out Lavish Alice. Note: They are based in Europe, so take the shipping time into consideration when ordering/ensure you have enough time before your event for items to arrive. Lavish Alice items are also sold at U.S. retailers like Nordstrom Rack, Nordstrom, and Saks Fifth Avenue, but I have found that most of the time, the items are cheaper when buying directly from Lavish Alice’s website, even with the shipping costs. They also have a curvy line, which is nice and shows they care about size inclusivity.
The wedding ceremony was on the water near the Brooklyn Bridge. It was a beautiful warm sunny day and I went with a blue floral dress with tie shoulders. Since the dress had a pattern and shoulder details, I went with simple shoes and accessories and paired it with comfortable low heels and matching envelope clutch from Target (pictured below left).
For the cocktail reception look, I went with a bright yellow dress (I love a pop of color, especially in Summer) a patterned clutch that had colors that picked up the color of the dress, and Dolce Vita comfortable clear heels (pictured below right).

Formal
Last (so far), but not least was a formal wedding in upstate New York. Once again, when I got the dress I wore to this wedding, I wasn’t sure where I was going to wear it, but I got it because it was unique and knew it was unlikely anyone would be wearing it wherever I did eventually end up wearing it. This super cute floral dress is from Red Dress, an online boutique where I get a lot of great dresses. They are currently having 30% off their entire site with code WOW30 at checkout, so if you are in need of dresses, check out ones like this unique tiered one here. I fully committed to florals by pairing the dress with dangly flower earrings from another one of my favorite online boutiques, Morning Lavender and my tried and true and oh so comfortable yet chic Dolce Vita heels. I normally hate heels, but have these ones in three different colors.
