Embellishments are trending. What are embellishments? They are just a little sparkle/jewels/pearls added to otherwise plain items. Above is a striped button down that has sparkles all over. They add some fun to an otherwise plain top and I got a ton of compliments when I wore it. The top is a little pricey, but I got it on sale and suggest you do the same (Express has 40% off frequently, so just be patient/check their site periodically). Embellishments can also be worn on bottoms. Below, I got this skirt on sale from J. Crew. Once again, super versatile as you can see. Embellished clothing is great because you can look dressed up without having to actually try that hard. Since this one is sold out, I’ve got a couple other embellished skirt options.
