February 1, 20215 Women’s Houndstooth Outfit Ideas Love this pattern because since it stands out on its own, you really don’t have to do much of anything to add to it, except maybe add a pop of color if you so choose.Top left: With the exception of when I have a trial or special occasions, I normally don’t wear heels since I’ve found most pairs to be uncomfortable and they only make me 5’0. BUT…as soon as I saw these dark pink suede @ninewest pumps at @macys, I was drawn to them and decided to give them a try. So glad I did! They are super comfortable, the block heel makes them easy to walk in, and the color adds just the right amount of color to what would have otherwise been an understated houndstooth dress (that I got on sale for $18) from @jcrewfactory. Top right: Who loves a midi skirt? 🙋🏾♀️ I got this one from @jcrewfactory on sale for $15. I paired it with a twist back sweater from @francescas and nude kitten heels from @ninewest. Simple with a red lip for my pop of color 💋 Middle left: Decided to really turn up the color on top to bring these houndstooth pants ($34.99) from @target @targetstyle to life. Paired them with a hot pink bow top from @macys and a black turtleneck from @loft with a lime green Vince Camuto blazer that I got for $17 from @nordstromrack. Minus the shoes, each outfit was under $80. Middle right: a mini skirt from @bananarepublicfactory, paired with a turtleneck from @loft, plum cardigan from @nordstromrack, and some thigh high boots. The whole outfit was $67, except for the boots (I’ve had them for years so I don’t remember how much they were). Bottom row: A simple bow top (that I got on sale for $8!) from @jcrewfactory with wide leg pants from @loft and red flats from @colehaan make this a simple yet classy look. The pants and shoes were each under $50.
