I’ve never owned a slip dress before. Because I’m curvy, they just seemed like the would be tight on my hips and too figure hugging. But when I was at Target recently, this floral slip dress immediately caught my eye. I could tell from just looking at it on the rack that it seemed a little looser than slip dresses I’ve seen in the past and that it would most likely not squeeze me too much. I usually wear a large in most Target brands, but for A New Day (which this dress is), I usually size down to a medium and that’s what I did with this dress and it fits well. A large could have worked too, but it would have been a baggier fit, which I wasn’t going for with this look.

Starting from left to right…first up, pair the slip dress with a cardigan, matching boots, and a wristlet. The middle look is edgy and sexy by pairing the cardigan with a moto jacket, mules, and cute bag pink bag that picks up the colors of the flowers on the dress.
